Can children under 18 see a show?

Our House Policy is that only children over 12 years are permitted entry until 10pm, and must be accompanied by a parent or guardian. The parent or guardian must also let the manager know of the minor in the premises. This is for safety reasons, so your understanding and co-operation is appreciated.

Is there a dress code?

Doo-Bop does not have a particular dress code. It’s just too hot in Queensland to bother about such things. Having said that, there are legislative requirements and we reserve the right to restrict entry according to these.

Is there a smoking area?

There is no dedicated smoking area in the venue, but there is on the street.

Does Doo-Bop have wheelchair access?

Yes! We have wheelchair access to both levels, as well as disabled and ambulant toilets. Access is available through a dedicated elevator.

Is there a photographic and / or videography policy?

Photography for personal use is fine. As long as you are not in anyone’s way, and you are using a small device such as your phone, you’re good. To be clear – if you start trying to set up tripods or anything bigger than an iPhone, you will be asked to leave. All professional photography and filming MUST have prior permission of the venue.
