For over 25 years, Andy Dashwood, inspired by Johnny Cash, has assembled top musicians from Queensland and interstate to showcase the impact Cash had on his career. Enjoy authentic renditions of Johnny Cash’s best songs, spanning his entire career, focusing on the music rather than impersonation.

Surprisingly enough, this is not a show that attempts to look like the man himself or emulate Johnny Cash’s image but to concentrate on the songs and songwriting brilliance. Showcasing a variety of songs that spread from Johnny Cash’s early career to his final albums. 

“We want for people to close their eyes and be able to think that Johnny is singing. To capture a moment in his songs for the first time. To be able to hear him. As a performer, to be able to concentrate on his style and songwriting in a special moment. To be able to showcase his songs and songwriting, to hear his songs as I hear them. To celebrate our appreciation of Johnny Cash.”
