August River Band

August River Band is a dynamic 5-piece ensemble that delivers a powerful punch to the senses. Their music seamlessly weaves together tightly arranged odd time signatures, creating a unique sound that pushes the boundaries of genres. Despite this experimentation, their music maintains a soulful essence, blending darkness and beauty.

The band’s lineup features a tortured singer-songwriter, a classically trained violinist, and a hard-hitting rock and roll drummer, creating a beautifully juxtaposed chemistry. Their music falls into the genres of Folk Rock, Roots Rock N’ Roll, and alternative/Indie Rock.

Drawing inspiration from a variety of sources including The Police, Dave Matthews, Midnight Oil, Edward Elgar, Foo Fighters, and Radiohead, August River Band’s music is a testament to the beauty of pouring love into the creative process, exploring themes of life, love, and loss.
