The Band
The Nic Reynolds Trio brings a mixture of old jazz standards, bebop, and modern tunes to create an exciting and memorable night of music making, with a strong emphasis on musicality, interplay and enjoyment. The trio have been playing together for over 2 years, performing at numerous venues around Brisbane.
Nic Reynolds
Nic Reynolds is a pianist studying Jazz Performance in his 3rd year at The Queensland Conservatorium of Music. During his time there, he has studied under numerous tutors, including well-renowned pianist, composer and arranger, Steve Newcomb. Nic is heavily involved in a number of bands, styles ranging from jazz, to pop, to RnB, to funk. He is strongly influenced by pianists Bill Evans, Wynton Kelly and Rai Thistlethwayte.
