Eddie & Mike’s performances are one of the best examples of sophisticated Brazilian music. Originally from Rio de Janeiro, Eddie Gazani now resides in Australia, bringing the Latin grooves of his home to audiences around the world. A trained singer, gifted guitarist with a deep affinity for the Brazilian 7-string classical guitar. Eddie has performed all around the world and alongside some of Rio’s great Samba and Choro veterans. Good friend and fellow musician Mike Bevan is also an amazingly accomplished guitarist. Having studied jazz guitar in New York and Boston and Brazilian music in Brazil, he has performed jazz, blues and Brazilian music locally, nationally and internationally for many years. Both have recorded numerous CDs and have performed at festivals all around the world. Joined by the common ground of their love for the music of Brazil, they are highly respected as masters in Brazilian Jazz.
