Fronted by Byron Short (Sunset Junkies), The Whiskers Jefferson Blues Band is a tour de force blues/jam band, performing classic blues to perfection and featuring the cream of the crop of the local blues scene. The band employs a ‘revolving door’ policy to maintain a fresh approach, meaning you will always be surprised and blown away by the unique line up of musicians on stage. From Robert Johnson, through Howlin’ Wolf and B.B. King to Jimi Hendrix, SRV and Gary Clark Jnr, the quality of music and the calibre of talent is top rate and a foot stompin’ great time is guaranteed for all and sundry.
