Party vibes and new sonic landscapes, fresh funk and dancefloor jazz.
Step It Up have been a premier seminal instrumental groove band since the acid jazz era in Australia.
They are a great festival act, always dance-able with eclectic live grooves from reggae, funk and house to drum n’bass. Very evolved, to their own unique style.
Step It Up’s releases include their recent live album, classic first album and numerous international compilation tracks on labels including Ubiquity, Creative Vibes and One Movement. They have received much airplay on UK Jazz FM, JJJ and the ABC .
They have shared the stage with DIG (Directions In Groove), the legendary Gil Scott-Heron, and Ronnie Jordan plus appearances at the Brisbane International Jazz Festival, Brisbane Festival Spiegeltent, Valley Jazz festival & all Vibes on a Summer Day festivals.
Doors open at 6.30pm. Show starts at 7.30pm.
