Dave Graney & Clare Moore Launch “Everything was funny” 

However they choose to play, they bring their story and their songbook whichstretches to over 40 albums- They make a show like few others.

During the initial Melbourne pandemic lockdown they started doing online shows every week, sometimes twice a week and revisited songs from all these albums asmwell as workshopping new material… They kept their performing nerve and playing and writing skills sharp; Then the lockdown eased and they played some shows around Australia. Then the lockdown came back again… Lucky, their lockdown nerves held too.

The duo’s latest album is a classic Compact Disc packed with too many songs for vinyl. It’s an album for the freaks called “EVERYTHING WAS FUNNY”.

They’ll be playing a lot of the new collection – mixed in with old classics from their songbook – along with some choice interpretations of other people’s songs for this album launch.

When people ask you in the future, “what was it like in those years-2020- 2022?” You can begin by stroking your chin and saying …”Weeelll…everything was funny”…

Join Dave & Clare for an intimate duo performance at Doo-Bop on the 19th of August in The Doo-Bop Basement bar.

Doors to the Basement open at 6.15pm, and the show starts at 7pm. Get in early on the night to secure your spot, as it it first in best dressed, so please take note of what time doors open.

Our piano bar will be open from 5pm upstairs, should you wish to visit (we highly recommend!)
